Im...disinterested.
Hm.
I am having a hard time finding my muse recently with some of my goodies.
What do you all do when you get to a point where you are... well... not into it?
I am stocking up for the fall and just now getting to the point where I feel comfortable with my stock quantity...for now. Dun dun DUN! I know I don't have near enough to make it through the Holiday season if this year is anywhere near last year.
(Flashback: I was unemployed from November through February so I was able to work on Red Marionette products ALL day. I wont have that luxury this year.)
What motivates you all?
I need to find some happy motivation thoughts.
Lay it on me! :)
Please.
With sugar on top.

My motivation is wanting to eat. I learned early on that if I want to eat, I better work.
i must say paying the bills was my driving force when i was doing strictly freelance ;)
these days, it's just breaking out into the industry that really motivates me. the idea of working in a shop with creatures all day gets me working hardcore.
but even then, sometimes i hit a wall. when that happens, i take a few weeks off and don't let myself do art at all. i do a lot of relaxing and silly little things that i love. my muse eventually sneaks back in and i fall back into art full force.
Caffiene and Great music! Turn it up and boogie a little and then I browse my list of "future" ideas (an ongoing list which I add to frequently when I'm OVER inspired) I choose something that is new and different and my mojo is off and running again!
You have to change it up.
