Craft Fair Mojo - Four Part Series - Revived!

It has been just over two years since I have started this little blog. I have spoken about a lot of things in that time. I missed my little blogs Birthday on February 9th, so to celebrate I am bringing back some of my favorite posts.
My friend Stacey from Ellebelle on Etsy reminded me of the posts I had made for Craft Shows!
Since it is beginning to be that time of the year again when shows are abundant, I thought I would revive them for some fun reading!
Craft Show Mojo - Part 1 - The Beginning
Craft Show Mojo - Part 2 - How to get going
Craft Show Mojo - Part 3 - At the Show
Craft Show Mojo - Part 4 - Uncomfortable Situations you will experience

Through the last two years I have done quite a few shows. I recently noticed I needed to go back through and reread these myself. A refresher course if you will. I still find them helpful as a reminder. Please let me know if you have any tips or tricks you yourself have learned over time!
Have fun reading!
Happy Last day of March!

I got a few of these little guys stitched last night while I was watching The Great Race with Natalie Wood and Tony Curtis (The Movie is a long time favorite of mine) If you havent seen it, Jack Lemmon as Professor Fate is hilarious! These little guys will be listed in the store soon but I am giving you all a sneak peek!

Wood, Willow and Whatknots

A couple of weekends ago we went to the Bay Area Renaissance Festival (You can see the site HERE)
It is always inspiring to go and see all of the crafters and artists at places like this. It was just stunning the amount of costumes and clothing people make. The leather work was amazing and as usual I found some awesome incense I wanted to share with you all!
The store is called Wood, Willow and Whatknots. They hand make all of their incense sticks, potpourris and oils. They also have woodburned artwork. Their website is HERE Their incense is pure and some of the best blends we have ever purchase. We tried out the Sandalwood, Blue Moon, Mystic Forest and Cosmic Minstrel. All wonderful. We will be ordering from them again in the future!
It is always refreshing for me to wander around and oogle at shows since most of the time I can get away to go to a show I am a vendor.
The photo is of Kyle and I with a Pirate that was part of the Pirate Dinner Adventure located in Orlando. Their fight sequences were kicking up some serious mud (literally) They are some superb actors! If you make it to Orlando, try to check out their show! Visit the site HERE

Have a wonderful Saturday Morning!

Spending Hiatus, Hiatus. Erm....?

Holy rusted metal BATMAN! Joanns is having a coupon commotion weekend where there is darn near a coupon for everything you might need!
HERE is the link to the online coupons you print off for the store. They are valid now through Saturday the 13th.

Now, I know I am on a spending Hiatus but I shall take a hiatus from my hiatus. Is that possible?
Well in my blog it is!
So, I will spend a little for a couple of very important things I need for the brand new wall art idea I have for Red Marionette. (I will make my prototype and introduce that this weekend!)

And I need a nice set of pinking shears, I have been waiting for a good coupon for that - 50% off is a good coupon I would say.
Tip: Always purchase good quality scissors. They last longer and you can get them sharpened.

So if you have goodies to get then hurry scurry to joanns. Remember you can stack Michaels coupons, Joanns Online and Flyer coupons.
Do it up! Share what you got!

Ive been bad...

I sincerely apologize for the long lapse of time in between blog posts.
One wants to keep things fresh, right?
Well, not too much to blog about as things have been pretty busy in the personal realm and not so busy in the Red Marionette Realm.
Kyle started Firefighter/EMT Training yesterday. He is knee deep already!
I have been working on a fun personal project for myself and Kyle. The Brown Chicken...Brown Cow.
What do you get when a Chicken and a Cow star in a XXX Film? Browchickabrowcow!
Yeah, its corny.
