Its been a fairly productive day so far! Finished up a bunch of ornaments for some orders and then had a brainstorming session for new animals for 2012.I have in the trio above from left to right - Honey Badger, Weasel and Otter.
This last image is a Monkey. The Monkey has been the bane of my existence for four years since I normally don't add arms to any of my animals. (Hooved animals are also an issue as their long legs are difficult to make. Ostrich, Flamingo, etc) I also struggled with him not looking like a squirrel in all of my sketches.So tonight I started working on a Monkey from the prompting of one of my Facebook Followers. So I came up with this little guy with tiny t-rex like arms. I bust out laughing while drawing them. What do you think? Is he a keeper?
